We are very pleased to announce that our showrooms will be re-opening on Monday 12th April at 9.30am in line with the lifting of restrictions

We will continue to ensure our showrooms are a safe and comfortable environment for our customers and staff with the relevant safety measures implemented.

We are very excited to welcome our customers back and we are very thankful for their continued patience and understanding.


Our opening hours will be as follows:

Monday to Saturday: 9.30am to 5.30pm

Sundays: 10.30am to 4.30pm

Update 3rd March 2021

Great News! After the announcement on the 22nd February 2021, we are preparing to open our showrooms to welcome everyone back on the Monday 12th April.

We will be extremely pleased to greet our customers once more after what has felt like a very long time. We are now preparing the showrooms to make sure they are not only at their best for your visit, but also a safe and secure environment for both customers and our staff.

We want you to feel confident and comfortable to browse our vast range of home products and interior solutions as well as use the expert knowledge of the sales consultants we have across all our departments from furniture and beds, to flooring and soft furnishings.

Between now and 12th April, we will still be running the business with a skeleton team of staff and sales consultants. As soon as we reopen we will be having a ‘Reopening Sale’, but before that, we would encourage you to explore our website, research any of our products, and contact info@lenleys.co.uk, whereupon we will be more than happy to answer or phone through the answer to any questions you may have. Our Reopening sale prices should be on the website from 15th March.We expect demand to be strong and delivery times to be under pressure, so please use us to be one step ahead of the expected rush.

We also continue to think that it is very important to keep you updated on any outstanding orders. Whilst we are unable to contact every single customer with an outstanding order, please do rest assured that we are continuing to work behind the scenes to check and chase orders. Whilst our industry as a whole has been hit hard with extended lead times and delays, we can assure you that our manufacturers and ourselves are doing everything we can to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. Our delivery and fitting services continue to operate as normal in a covid secure manner and are keen to expedite outstanding orders as quickly as we receive them.

As always, we continue to be extremely grateful to our customers for the compassion and understanding attitudes that have been shown towards us.

Update 5th January 2021

Following national restrictions announced on the 4th January 2021, our showroom is temporarily closed.

Our online store remains open and please be assured we have a range of online and delivery services that will allow you to continue to shop from the comfort of your own home.

For those larger purchases that need more detailed advice and consideration, please contact us by email on info@lenleys.co.uk. Our skeleton team of sales staff will be pleased to help you by phone or email.

Our delivery and fitting services, click & collect and customer services remain available and will continue to operate as advised by government guidelines. We will continue to follow strict COVID-19 secure procedures to protect both customer and employees.

If you currently have an order outstanding with us, then please rest assured that most manufacturing is continuing. As soon as we receive ordered products from our suppliers, we will contact customers to arrange delivery or fitting.

Update 21st December 2020

As Kent entered Tier 4 on 20th December we are sorry to have to close our showrooms once again and we will be unable to open after Christmas as well. Ordinarily we would give our staff an extended break over the festive period and the news yesterday means they will have a little longer than planned this year.

We shall be reopening our showrooms as soon as we are allowed with our teams well rested and raring to go with the fabulous Winter Sale offers that we have already prepared.

In the mean time, our website shows the full range of our Winter Sale offers with many items available to be purchased on line. For additional advice and guidance on all our products, please email us on info@lenleys.co.uk and we will be very pleased to respond to your queries as soon as we can.

We aim to keep our Distribution Centre operating until 24th December, so if we have arranged a delivery of an order to you, we will be in contact to confirm that you are still able to accept delivery and advise you of the safety procedures that our delivery crew will follow. From 24th December until 4th January the Distribution Centre will be closed.

For customers with outstanding orders, we will continue to try to keep you informed about the status of your orders. As you will know from previous communications and from the national news, the supply situation across many industries, ours including, is very disjointed and subject to delays for many reasons. Brexit does of course present new challenges for importing products but we and our customs agent are set up to deal with the new procedures.

In light of the latest government announcement by the Prime Minister on Saturday 31st October we will be temporarily closing our showrooms at the end of the working day on Wednesday 4th November.

Update 27th October 2020

Thank you to all our customers who have visited us since we reopened in June. We are delighted to say that we have helped many customers with additions and improvements to their homes and are grateful for the trust placed in us.

The furniture sector generally has experienced a large increase in demand since the lockdown, which, coupled with the demand for raw materials to deal with demand for PPE and related operational situations in many industries and locations, is causing exceptional delays in manufacturing.

Below is a notice from British Furniture Manufacturers (BFM) which describes the challenges which the furniture industry is currently facing. Unfortunately, this means that the delivery time of specially ordered furniture is extended, and it is difficult to accurately predict what they might be.

Update 2nd June 2020

We are delighted to announce that we will be re-opening our store on Saturday 6th June at 10am.

As you will be aware Lenleys along with many retailers have been closed since 23rd March. Following Government guidelines and in line with our fellow homewares retailers we are delighted to announce that we intend to re-open our showroom in Roper Road on Saturday 6th June at 10am.

As ever, our main priority is to keep our customers and staff safe and therefore, we have been working hard behind the scenes to implement new safety measures to allow for social distancing, hand sanitising stations and regular cleaning procedures to ensure a safe shopping, working and delivery environment. As an independent, family run business for almost 85 years, this period in all our lives has reminded us of the importance of family, friends and having a relaxing and enjoyable home in which to spend time. We are extremely grateful to our loyal customers, who have supported us through this difficult time with their patience and understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the store, when we will be happy to help you with all your home furnishing plans once again.

We are also pleased to inform you that our distribution team are now able to deliver into your room of choice and assemble your goods when required. This is possible following a strict new policy regarding social distancing and hygiene routines. If you would prefer a ‘to door only delivery’ this is of course possible.

Update 18th May 2020

Our warehouse is now partially up and running and starting to carry out a contactless delivery service to our customers who are happy to receive their orders. This service follows present government guidelines in relation to social distancing to keep our customers and staff safe.

We can deliver your goods wrapped to your doorstep, garage or with direct access, to your garden.

Our previous in-home delivery and installation service is currently un-available due to the government restrictions. We are ready to re-start this service at the earliest opportunity once restrictions are altered. If you require this service we will safely store your goods until we are able carry out the delivery.

Please note many items are large and will require two people to lift and carry into the home with some assembly and disposal of packaging.

Our delivery teams have new working procedures following government guidelines including gloves, hand sanitizer and specific vehicle cleaning routines.

Garden Furniture:

Should we be able to deliver these specific goods directly to your garden we can If required unwrap, assemble and remove packaging.

Customer Collection:

Although our showroom in Roper Road remains closed you are now able to collect directly from our warehouse in Marshwood Close, Canterbury, this must be by appointment and following the social distancing regulations and protocols. Please contact info@lenleys.co.uk for more information.

Unfortunately because of the current restrictions we will not be able to collect and dispose of any existing items, we will re-introduce this service when possible.

Every customer order is important to us and we are working hard to deliver every order as quickly and safely as possible, you may experience a little delay whilst we catch up and we thank you for your patience during this time.

As the situation surrounding the Coronavirus is constantly changing we wanted to let you know that the health and safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority. As COVID-19 continues to impact on our daily lives, we have been closely monitoring the situation and are following the advice of Public Health England. We have put together some Frequently Asked Questions surrounding our response to the current situation and wanted to make sure that you are aware of these. Should you have a question that we have not answered then please contact us by emailing info@lenleys.co.uk and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.

Is your store open?

Our retail store is currently respecting government guidelines and is therefore closed. The safety of our staff and customers comes first, so we feel that this is the right thing to do.

Can I purchase online?

Our online shop remains open so that you can place orders and browse from your home. If you require any help or information placing an order via our website please email info@lenleys.co.uk.

Is Terrazzo restaurant open?

Under government guidelines our Terrazzo Restaurant is currently closed until further notice.

When will your store reopen?

The current situation is unprecedented and we’re working diligently to help our customers and employees through it. While we’re looking forward to reopening our stores and resuming deliveries and other services as normal, we will be guided by government advice and continue to do all we can to help stop the spread of the virus. We’ll post any important updates so please keep an eye on this page.

What is happening with Customer Services?

If you have an outstanding customer service issue with us, please rest assured that our commitment to you will not change during this period. As soon as we are able to reopen then we will be in contact to continue to help you. If you had a home visit booked which we have been unable to carry out, we shall be in touch as soon as visiting is judged safe to undertake. At this point we will clarify our distancing and safety procedures to check that you are happy to receive us.

Are you making deliveries?

Currently our distribution centre is temporarily closed, and all deliveries are suspended. Due to the need to protect our customers and incredible team members, we have been unable to safely complete deliveries in customers’ homes at this time. We are currently working hard on a revised set of working practices in order to be able to facilitate home delivery, whilst also protecting our employees and customers, and keeping government guidelines in mind. As soon as it is judged to be safe for us to re-open our distribution centre, we will make it a priority to do so.

What is happening with outstanding orders?

Outstanding customer orders that have been received into our distribution centre are being safely stored in our warehouse. We cannot pre book any deliveries during this time of uncertainty but as soon as we can safely recommence our delivery operations we will contact customers that are awaiting delivery. At this point we will explain the revised set of working practices and safety procedures necessary for a home delivery and ascertain that the customer is content with these procedures.

Orders that have not yet been received into our warehouse are likely to be subject to a delay due to the widespread suspension of global manufacturing during this time. The temporary halt in manufacturing means we are unable to give an exact date of arrival into our warehouse at the moment. We are liaising closely with our dedicated supplier network to ensure any delays are minimised. However, circumstances differ across different factories and different countries, which makes it very difficult to be specific about delays until operations recommence more fully.


We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time. As soon as we have an update, we will be sure to update this page with information. We hope you and your family remain safe during this uncertain time.

During these unprecedented and challenging times, we felt it timely to communicate again with all our past, present, and future customers.

Our entire workforce is presently at home as their safety, and the safety of our customers, is of course our primary consideration. In common with most businesses, the disruption to our 84-year-old family business is both unique and challenging. We are however ready to re-open at the earliest opportunity, to continue to give you the help and service you might require with your furniture and furnishings.

If you specifically have goods awaiting delivery, or are expecting your goods in the near future, please be aware that we will open our distribution centre as a priority once it is deemed safe to do so. In anticipation of this we will direct adequate resources to cope with the likely volumes to make sure that you are not inconvenienced any longer than is needed.

As a family run business, the safety and well-being of our customers, staff and the local community is our top priority during these uncertain times.

Following on from our communication last Friday we have now made the difficult decision to close our Lenleys showroom until further notice at the end of today, Monday 23rd March 2020. We believe this to be the right decision in order to mitigate the potential spread of the coronavirus and to keep our customers, staff and their families safe.

You, our customers, are exceptional and we know that you will understand that we have not come to this decision lightly. We have been a family-owned business for almost 85 years and that would not be possible without the continued support from our customers. We would like to sincerely thank all our customers and staff for their patience, continued support and understanding while we endeavour to deal with this challenging time.

Our distribution centre will also be closing at the end of Tuesday 24th March 2020 and we apologise to those customers who would have expected their deliveries shortly. We will deliver to customers with outstanding goods as a priority once we re-open.

As a family run business for almost 85 years we have always prided ourselves on providing a safe environment for our customers and staff and our aim is to continue to do this through this challenging time.

You, our customers, have provided continued support for our independent family business and we greatly appreciate it. Our staff also continue to be hard working and incredible, especially through this tough time and their commitment to the business and to our customers as always is exceptional, which we are extremely grateful for.

As we write this, we are still open and expect to be open next week (i.e week commencing 23rd March 2020). We are paying close attention to developments in order to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all our customers and colleagues.

Our distribution centre remains fully open and we are continuing to make deliveries to all our customers whilst retaining a high level of hygiene and care. We have equipped our delivery crews with extra products to maintain this level of hygiene for their safety and yours. We would also like to thank our customers who have been very understanding and flexible whilst we deliver their goods and if there are any questions about delivery we will do all we can to answer them. We know customers still want to receive their goods and we are grateful for this.
